Agilent to Invest $25M in India Campus.Navigation: Main page Author: Unknown
Agilent said Thursday it is investing $25 million in its first campus in India. The 10-acre campus near Manesar, Haryana will be one of its largest worldwide and will provide R&D, engineering support and financial services for the company, Agilent said. Agilent India currently has 1,200 employees engaged in marketing, sales and customer support across offices located in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad, according to the company. The new campus, expected to be completed in two years, will provide 200,000 square feet of building space in the initial phase and will host a number of facilities to aid in developing financial and business processes, and R&D programs. "We have been on a high-growth path in India since we began our R&D services and financial services operations there in 2001," Bill Sullivan, Agilent president and CEO, said in a statement. "With the test and measurement market in India growing at an accelerated rate, we are expecting to triple the revenues from India in the next two to three years."
