When Rooney made a guest appearance on The O.C., rocking the house for an upcoming episode, they took inspiration from the past. "The Flaming Lips were on Beverly Hills 90210," says Rooney frontman Robert Carmine. "That's why we did it." But the show's nubile young cast (right) didn't hurt. "I can't lie â€" the girls are hot," Carmine says. "They spent all their time in our dressing room getting naked." Any actress-rocker romance? "They have careers," Carmine laments. "I don't think they could do bad things while they're working."
