Career change

Consultant nurse Robert Sowney (left) is leaving the field of emergency care this month, when he takes up post as deputy director of nursing at North Glamorgan NHS Trust.

Mr Sowney, who has been consultant nurse in emergency care at The Mater Hospital Trust, Belfast, and the Eastern Health and Social Services Board, will continue as an RCN council member.
