Harris To Give Cunningham-Tied Money To Charity

Rep. Katherine Harris, R-Fla., Saturday said she plans to donate to charity $51,000 in contributions linked to former Rep. Randy (Duke) Cunningham, R-Calif., the Associated Press reported. Since 2002, federal records show, owners and employees of two companies identified in Cunningham's indictment тА" MZM Inc. and ADCS Inc. тА" have pumped the money into Harris' campaign. Cunningham resigned last week after pleading guilty in federal court to accepting bribes for steering government contracts to two defense contractors.
