INFLIGHT MAGAZINES

Inflight magazines, published by commercial airlines for their passengers, offer an excellent market for a wide variety of freelance writing: travel and destination pieces, essays, humor, profiles, interviews, and other general-interest material. Most of the editors on this list prefer to see a query letter (with an SASE) rather than a completed manuscript. It's important to write to the editor for the price of a sample copy and writers' guidelines.
