Remember writing notes on the palm of your hand before taking that killer lit final? Well, save your ink: iPREPpress and SparkNotes October 26 announced a partnership that will see 11 study guides for American and English literature volumes made available for downloading on iPods. The guides are for high school and college-level students. According to iPREPpress, the iPod text is identical to print versions, but, unlike with paper, the e-versions also have "audio hyperlinks to context, audio plot overview, and audio analysis of major characters." SparkNotes titles currently available include Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Tale of Two Cities, and several Shakespeare works, among others.
