MCDONALD'S OFFERS PATRONS A HUMAN TOUCH AT DRIVE-UP

Colorado Springs, Colo. -- Patrons of Colorado Springs' newest McDonald's restaurant, which opened recently, are finding a more human touch waiting for them at the drive-up window.

Restaurant owner Steve Bigari has dispensed with the loud speaker, and drive-up customers now talk face to face with a McDonald's employee at one window to place an order and then drive on to another window to pick up the order.

Bigari's new McDonald's will feature four drive-up windows. He said the innovation will speed service, make customers happier and cut down noise in the residential area.
