MERMAIDS ON CALL FAIL TO FIND CAR.Navigation: Main page Author: Unknown Section: CRIMECOLLAR OF THE WEEK
A Zimbabwean traditional healer has been found guilty of conning a businesswoman out of US$30,000 in exchange for helping her recover her stolen car by enlisting the help of mermaids. Edina Chizema, who was not registered with the country's respected association of traditional healers, promised to import the mermaids from Britain and put them up in a hotel. She had also asked for money so she could buy cellphones with which to contact the mermaids.
