MILITARY MOVE

Lt. Gen. John W. Rosa Jr., 53, will step down as superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy to become president of the Citadel.

General Rosa, who graduated from the Citadel in 1973, will replace Maj. Gen. John Grinalds as head of the state military college in Charleston, S.C. General Grinalds is stepping down on August 1, after eight years as president, to become headmaster of a private preparatory school in Charleston.
