Doug Morris, chairman/CEO of the world's largest major label, will join Billboard's Music & Money Symposium for an afternoon keynote. He will engage in a Q&A session with Billboard executive editor/associate publisher Tamara Conniff. The Music & Money Symposium, in association with law firm Loeb & Loeb, will be held March 2 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York. The event showcases top technology, music and financial executives discussing investment climates and strategies, along with trends in the music and technology industries. Scheduled panels will explore such issues as venture capital trends, the acquisition of publishing catalogs, how to make money in the mobile and tech spaces and 2006 venture forecasts. CKX chairman Robert Sillerman will provide the morning keynote. His company owns a controlling share of Elvis Presley Enterprises and 19 Entertainment, the firm responsible for the "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance" TV shows.
