ONSTAR CAR SYSTEM HELPS IN FINDING DOLTS


Ralph Gomez showed his girlfriend the OnStar safety system in his Cadillac Escalade last week in St. Augustine, Fla. But he left the volume on so low he couldn't hear the OnStar operator paging him. If operators can't get a response they're supposed to alert police. When the cops arrived, they found no problem -- except for the cocaine on the console. Gomez was charged with "possession of an illicit drug within 1,000 feet of a church."
