It's like a Star Wars movie for the fashion world-an anxiously awaited release with heavily costumed actors and a lexicon all its own (e.g., "clackers," the sound magazine staffers' high heels make, and "Lacroix," a designer). Based on the book of the same name, the film revolves around Andrea Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, as the assistant to fictional Runway fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly. To navigate the world of couture, Devil director David Frankel turned to costumer Patricia Field of Sex and the City and "let her do her thing," he says. "She's an icon in the industry. I knew she'd get it right." And PEOPLE turned to Field for behind-the-scenes dish. PHOTO (COLOR): The Sunglasses: Hathaway's Chanel shades, $365; Saks Fifth Avenue, 800-347-9177. PHOTO (COLOR): TAKE NOTE "Meryl brought some of her own [artwork] from home to hang in the office," says Field.
