"I think that kind of venomous, all-consuming jealousy of your own friends is unique to women â€" men either move on or kill the person," says Tina Fey (inset), whose script for Mean Girls, starring Lindsay Lohan, is one of 2004's sharpest comic pleasures. "Heathers [1989] is really good, and it has Shannen Doherty, one of the toughest girls of all time, wouldn't you love to see Lohan go head-to-head with Doherty? That would be awesome."

Their bedroom scene (set to "Crimson and Clover") has such an intense realness to it that it seems like the steamiest exchange of flesh licking you've ever seen, much less done.

Even when he stands in front of her naked â€" especially when they kiss â€" they act like brother and sister. Even when they cuddle on a circular bed, their minds are clearly elsewhere.

A marketing ploy that has spread like a virus. DVD companies are hiding innocuous extras (Billy Dee Williams flubbing his lines in Jedi) and forcing us to go on an Easter-egg treasure hunt. Stop it.
