Top Teen Career Choices

Looks like you --the next generation of America's workforce--are a part of an ambitious group. A Gallup Youth Survey of 1,000 kids ages 13-17 say their top choices for careers are teacher, doctor, and lawyer.

For the first time, the number-one pick among boys is a job in sports. The boys' top 10 choices also include careers in military, architecture, and business. Girls chose teaching as their number-one pick in a list that includes fashion designer, veterinarian, and nurse. Career choices for both guys and girls are listed at right.
