U2 Unveil New Album, iPod

U2's Bono and the Edge treated a crowd of journalists and Apple employees to stripped-down acoustic versions of two new songs, "Original of the Species" and "All Because of You," at the San Jose, California, press conference announcing new iPod models (including a black U2 edition). The band debuted its single "Vertigo" in an Apple commercial. See "U2's iPod Strategy" on Page 17.
