Wholesale Prices Grow By 0.1 Percent

• Wholesale prices grew by 0.1 percent in February after shooting up by 0.6 percent in January, the Labor Department reported. Excluding food and energy prices, "core" wholesale prices inched up by 0.1 percent in February, down from a 0.3 percent advance the month before. The report showed that inflation is not a problem even as the economy has been growing at a healthy pace. The low inflation climate in the country has allowed the Federal Reserve to hold a key interest rate at a low level.
